A zenekar 2003. január 15-én alakult Nagykanizsán, ekkor a felállás:

Nem sokkal később rögzítettünk házi körülmények között egy demot (Hanyatlás címmel), amit minőségéből kifolyólag nem nagyon terjesztettünk, kb 20db készült belőle. 2003 júniusában volt a Teurgia első fellépése, majd júliusban nyertünk a Rockmaraton tehetségkutatóján egy 2004-es nagyszínpados fellépési lehetőséget. 2003 őszén megéltük első stúdióélményünket, felvettük a Mors Tua Ero anyagot, melyen 4 számot rögzítettünk. Szerzői kiadásban adtunk ki. Ebből körülbelül 100 db-ot készítettünk, ami mind el is fogyott.
2004 folyamán egy pécsi koncertszervezőnek köszönhetően, játszhattunk az angol Benediction vendégeként Kaposváron, és később az olasz Vexed-del is. A Mors Tua Ero anyag kapcsán szerepeltünk a Tilos rádió Gorezone című műsorában 2004 novemberében, ahol egy 2 órás interjú lehetőséget kaptunk. Egyre többet koncerteztünk, és szerencsére egyre jobb kritikákat kaptunk. Aztán rájöttünk, hogy 2 gitárossal sokkal kidolgozottabb lenne a zenénk, ezért nekiálltunk az új tag keresésének. 2004 decemberében belépett hozzánk Major Mihály, de sajnos vele egy pár hónap után elválltak útjaink. A zenekar ezután egy kisebb mélyponton volt. Neki szerettünk volna állni az új anyagnak, de mindig volt valami, ami megakadályozott minket. Így aztán húztuk-halasztottuk a dolgot.
Meghívást kaptunk az olaszországi Morarock 2005 fesztiválra, aminek az eredménye egy tehetségkutatós különdíj lett. Miután hazaérkeztünk, nem sokkal később belépett hozzánk Somogyi Ádám, aki nagyon hamar beilleszkedett a zenekarba. 2005 augusztusától elkezdtük átírni a számainkat 2 gitárra.
2006 májusban végre rögzíteni tudtuk a régóta halasztott anyagot, A Vég Útján-t. 2006. augusztus 9.-én készült el szerzői kiadásban az új demo, melyen 6 szám hallható, most először 2 szám angol nyelven is.
2007 februárjában teltház előtt játszottunk a III. Stygian Shadows Fesztiválon, majd rengeteg szervezői hibából adodóan elég szerncsétlenül elmaradt jó pár koncertünk. Nyáron úgy döntöttünk, hogy nekiállunk az első teljes terjedelmű album felvételeinek. Júliusban a munka megkezdése előtt azonban Czirják Csaba kilépett a zenekarból. Ezután Soma vette át a mikrofont az énekesi poszton. Később Szilárd is beállt a mikrofon mögé, mint másod vokál. Az új album stúdiómunkálatai elkezdődtek.
2008 április 14-én a Hungaryan Records gondozásában megjelent első albumunk With True Faith címmel. 1000 db-os példányszámban 16 országban került terjesztésre: Argentina, Belgium, Colombia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, United Kingdom, USA. Az év folyamán 19 koncertet adtunk, és többek közt játszottunk a Sear Bliss (HU), Bornholm (HU), Svart Crown (FR), Otargos (FR), Defiant (CRO), Vulvathrone (SLO), Fintroll (FIN), Demonical (SWE) zenekarokkal.
2009 január 15.én a zenekar 6 éves fennállását ünnepelte. Februárban Molnár János hivatalos magyar Spector Bass endorser lett. Márciustól kezdve teljes erőbedobással készül a második lemezünk anyaga. Májusban sajnálatos módon Mosdósi Szilárddal elváltak útjaink, és a trió mellett döntöttünk. A zenekar erősebb, és ütőképesebb lett, mint valaha. A második lemez anyaga készen áll a felvételre.

Not much later we recorded a ’home-made’ demo (with the title of ’Decay’, with 3 Hungarian songs), which was not popularized because of its quality - only 20 copies were made. In June 2003 Teurgia had its debut, and then at the talent contest of Rockmaraton we won an opportunity to appear on the main stage in 2004. In autumn of 2004 we had our first studio-experience: we recorded the Mors Tua Ero-material, four Hungarian songs were recorded on it. We published it in author’s edition and made about 100 copies. All of them were sold out.
During the year of 2004 thanks to a concert organiser from Pecs, we could play in Kaposvar as the guest of the English Benediction, and later with the Italian Vexed. Because of the ’Mors Tua Ero’-material we appeared in the ’Gorezone’ programme of ’Tilos radio - Hungary’ in November 2004 and we got a chance for a two-hour-interview. We had more and more concerts, and luckily we got better and better reviews. Then we realised that our music would be more developed with two guitarists therefore we tried to find a new member. In December 2004 Mihaly Major joined us but unfortunately, several months later we broke up with him. The band had a short depression period after that. We wanted to create the new material but there was always something that set us back to do it. So we kept putting it off.
Teurgia were invited to Morarock festival in Italy in 2005 and as the result of it we got a special award at the talent contest. After we had arrived home, Adam Somogyi joined us, who could integrate into the band very soon. Since 2005 we started to rewrite our songs for two guitars.
By May 2006 we could reach the level to be able to record the material - ’On The Way To The End’ / ’A veg utjan’ - which we had been postponing for a long time. On 9th August 2006 our new demo was released in author’s edition. There are six songs on it, now at first two songs in English, and the demo has the programme time of 30 minutes. We appeard again in the ’Gorezone’ programme of ’Tilos Radio - Hungary’ in October 2006, because of the releasing of the new demo. The band got a lot of gig requests from many places. We played on the third Stygian Shadows Fest..Hungary in February 2007. Thanks a lot those who supported, and still supporting us!!!
Until the spring of 2007 all of the ’On The Way To The End’ CDs were sold out. Then we made the demo downloadable for everybody on our website. At the begining of summer 2007 We decided that it is time to start the recording of the first full length, but unfortunately Csaba Czirjak has left the band before We started the studio works. The perfect new vocalist was found not as far from the band as We thought. Adam Somogyi became our new singer in June of 2007.
Teurgia went through a strange rebirth after the new 4-membered line up came alive. A few gigs were made with the new line up and We finished the recordings with Soma on vocals in August of 2007. The final master will be done at autumn of 2007 and after that, We are looking for a label.
2008 January - We signed to Hungaryan Records, and our first full lenght, called "With True Faith" will be release on 14th of April in 2008.
