A Carmentis zenekar ötlete 2004-ben született meg a dobos, Haraszti Dávid és az énekes, Gonda Ágnes fantáziájában. Másfél évnek kellett eltelnie ahhoz, hogy a hosszas tagkeresgélés és kísérletezés után az elsö felállásunk összeüljön próbálni. A zenekarhoz hirdetés útján elsöként a billentyüs, Darázsi Zsolt csatlakozott. A gitároskeresés volt a leghosszadalmasabban elhúzódó folyamat, szólógitárosból pár hónap leforgása alatt többet is elfogyasztottunk. Végül Weisz Krisztián személyében akadtunk rá a megfelelö zenészre. Ettöl kezdve gözerövel kezdödtek a hétvégi próbálások, a munka színe-java. Már hozzávetöleg négy hónapja zenéltünk együtt, amikor csatlakozott a basszusgitáros, Bartos Dániel, akinek azonban nem okozott nehézséget a lemaradás pótlása. Ritmusgitárosunk az induláskor Treiber Roland volt, öt az elsö koncert után Darázsi László váltotta fel, aki azóta a zenekar oszlopos tagja. Tokár Gábor vokálosként és dalszövegíróként müködik közre a zenekar életében. Csapatunk így teljes létszámban készül a koncertekre, amikböl terveink szerint nem egy és nem is kettö lesz...

The idea of the band was born in the fantasy of Dávid Haraszti and Ágnes Gonda in 2004. One and a half years had to pass by, when after the long searches of the members and the first attempts, the first set-up could gather for a fitting. Through advertisements the keyboard player, Zsolt Darázsi was the first who joined the band. The longest procedure was the finding of the guitarist. During a couple of months we mopped up more than one solo guitarists. At last, Krisztián Weisz was the one, who we found the suitable guitarist in. From this point of time the weekend fittings, the cream of the work began with full blast. We had been playing for about four months, when the bass player, Dániel Bartos joined us. The renewal of the lag didn’t present any difficulty for him. In the beginning, our rhythm guitar player had been Roland Treiber, who was replaced by László Darázsi after the first concert. Since then he became an important member of the band. Gábor Tokár participates in the band’s life as a vocalist and a lyrics-writer. Our band is preparing for the concerts with full headcount.
