The band was born in November 2004. They had the first public appearance in the first week of their existence! Matplaneta’s goal and prior is to tour ceaselessly, placing their live acts into a wider multimedial context by gathering live music with visualization set and by featuring in unusual costumes. The philosophy of their music is to join traditional analogue instruments with modern software techniques. The musicians have invented their own phrase to name the style-ROCK’N’SPACE. The band’s music has already been recognized in Poland and Matplaneta won grand prix at the Silesian FAMA festival 2005. The band is: JU-GHAN (double-bass), ALLAH MACHALLE (drum) MARCEL HARP (synthesizers). At the moment the band is working on their debut album which should be ready in two months’ time
