In 1997, after the split up of some local bands, 4 guys started to play in the basement of a detached house and formed a band dubbed Punishment. After a few months of rehearsals, the band started to play numerous local concerts simultaneously winning the esteem of hc/metal/punk kids. As time passed, Punishment’s music started to grow mature and drift toward dynamic hardcore / punk. In 2003 the band recorded a tape released by an underground Polish label Subculture Records.
